Project 1 Ideas

Project one for me will deal with themes of right to privacy and government overreach. These issues have been very important to me for a long time. I believe that we as American citizens should have a right to privacy and protection from unlawful searches and seizures. The goal of my image will be to depict a future if the American people remain inactive in this growing issue plaguing our nation.

Project 1 Idea

For project one I would like to emphasize the over consumption of resources in particular natural resources such as gasoline. With the recent decline in gas prices, filling up at the pump hasn't been too detrimental to my bank account, however, I do remember a time in recent memory where prices sky rocketed to nearly four dollars per gallon in some areas. Gas is of vital importance around the globe, especially in the United States, as it fuels our transportation and serves as an efficient source of energy. It's versatility is why individuals are willing to spend the money they do on it making it big business. But how much is "too much" to pay for gas? What if one day gasoline becomes so scarce that it costs $10-$15 per gallon? What I would like to incorporate in my first project is the idea of people in the future reverting back to before automobiles and before gas was such a high commodity item (abandoning the gas pump) and using different forms of transportation.

Project #1 Ideas

For my project I want to incorporate the idea of recycling/reusing and emphasize the importance of recycling for our future and our ability to live sustainably. These three images are the basis of how I will be able to show a progression of our world, whether our bad habits do not change or the idea that there is a possibility of a cleaner future. Im not sure which idea to go with...the brutal and gross future of trash or the brighter future that consisted of a cleaner environment for all.

Ideas for Project One

I plan to show how the U. S. Army is ever evolving and how the camouflage patterns of the U.S. military has adapted to the environment and age we were fighting in.  I plan to take a photo such as the first two and show a progression of the uniforms as if they are following each other.

Project 1 Ideas

One aspect I hope to include in project one is the idea that regardless of our expectations for the future it is in our hands. I would like to use an image similar to the one shown to help create a focal point.

Personally, one of my biggest concerns with the future is the environment, specifically space. As technology keeps improving and the population keeps growing it seems like we are slowly running out of space on Earth and more cities will begin to build up. I want to emphasize this through contrast between the city and open space.

When thinking about possible effects of                   expansion in the future I not only think of humans but animals as well. There are problems concerning deforestation and animals near extinction as is and I hope that we can find a way to help reverse these issues in the future. My goal is to include an interesting perspective on  our options with how animals could fit into this upwards future both positively and negatively.

Something I Love

I love going to concerts with friends. This goes along with my love of music and the fact I have favorite artists in nearly every genre. I also enjoy concert photography and hope to one day get photos published in a magazine or ad for the music industry.

Ideas for Project One

My idea for this project is to show our potential future void of much social interaction due to the amount of social media and technology we are bombarded with everyday. Even today we have noticed the negative impacts of social media usage in communication studies.

One thing that I love to do

Love going to the movies with friends
